French River Resorts Association represents Professional Businesses in the French River area which include Lodges, Resorts, Cottages, Camps, Campgrounds, Trailer Parks, Tenting, Outfitters, Motels, and Hotels. The association was formed in 1945.
What does it mean to be a member of the French River Resorts Association?
Our Objectives
- To protect, promote and defend the exiting Tourism industry on the French River
- To preserve, protect and enhance the heritage of the French River
- To provide a forum and leadership role in protecting the river environment and in working toward changes necessary to its preservation
- To represent the membership in a liaison role with government agencies and organizations concerned with the conservation of game and fish, protection of the forests, maintenance of quality of the water and the distribution of information about the attractions, history and significance of the French River
- To monitor legislation and the actives of governmental bodies concerned with the river
- To engage in any other activities the membership deems appropriate
